Happy Valentine’s Day!
We’re sending you a Valentine to let you know that we love you just the way you are! But we also wanted to remind you, that in the state of Michigan, you can be fired from your job just for being who you are. Crazy, right?
So instead of sending you a cheap paper card or a bag of sugary candy, we’re asking you to really be our Valentine and help make the lives of gay and transgender people better here in Michigan.
Can you help us spread the love and send your friends our Valentine?
When they get your card, they’ll be able to sign their names to our petition in support of employment protections. Making sure our gay and transgender neighbors can’t lose their jobs for absolutely no reason? Yeah, that’s a way better Valentine than some heart-shaped candy.
